Prof. Philipp Moroder is a shoulder and elbow surgeon at the Schulthess Clinic in Zurich, Switzerland. He specialized in shoulder and elbow surgery under the guidance of Prof. Herbert Resch in Salzburg, Austria, Prof. Mark Tauber and Prof. Peter Habermeyer in Munich, Germany, as well as Prof. Markus Scheibel in Berlin, Germany. After participating in the SECEC Travelling Fellowship in several host centers in the United States he was Head of the Department for Shoulder and Elbow Surgery at the Charité University Hospital in Berlin, Germany from 2018 until 2021. Prof. Moroder received numerous awards for his research including the prestigious Charles S. Neer Award of the American Shoulder and Elbow Society (ASES) for his clinical research in 2019. Since 2021 he is part of the Executive Committee of the European Shoulder and Elbow Society (SECEC).
