Dr. Arendt is Professor and Vice Chair in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. Her primary clinical interest is the knee, and research interest has centered on those knee conditions that affect females more than males. To date this has focused on stress fractures, ACL injuries, and PF disease and injury. She was on the NCAA safeguard committee for 6 years, and was the medical director for men’s and women’s intercolleagiate sports at her university for over 25 years. She remains a orthopedic team physician for women’s volleyball and basketball. Dr. Arendt serves on the Editorial Boards of Knee and American Journal of Sports Medicine.
