From 1991 to 2019, Dr. Zaffagnini published 279 articles in international journals (263 with an impact factor). Between 1988 to 2018, he published 88 articles in Italian national journals. He has taken part as a speaker in over 300 International Meetings and 286 Italian National Meetings. From 1988 to 2018, he published 341 international abstracts and 144 Italian national abstracts. Dr. Zaffagnini was an editor for 14 books, associate author of 66 book’s chapters, 6 monograph’s chapters, and 8 videos. He currently works as a full time professor at the University of Bologna (Università di Bologna, Bologna, Italy) and as a researcher in Biomechanics Laboratory of Codivilla-Putti Reserch Institute (Istituti Ortopedici Rizzoli, Bologna, Italy). He participates in various research projects promoted by Istituti Ortopedici Rizzoli, Italian Health Ministry, and European Community. In 2018 he was nominated embassy of the City of Bologna in the world. He serves as reviewer across several international journals, and Dr. Zaffagnini has been serving as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Experimental Orthopaedics (JEO), since 2019.
