Dr. Maletis is a practicing orthopedic surgeon at the Kaiser Permanente Baldwin Park Medical Facility. In addition, he has an appointment as a Clinical Professor of Orthopedic Surgery in the Keck/USC School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Orthopedics at USC and a sports medicine fellowship at LSU. He has served as the Lead Physician of the Kaiser Permanente ACL Registry, now the largest ACL registry in the US. The registry team has published over 30 papers and had numerous paper presentations at national and international meetings. His work has focused on the risk factors associated with risk of revision after ACL surgery. He is also one of the co-founders of the International ACL Registry Group which is a coalition of ACL Registries from around the world.
