Dr. Voloshin is a Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a Chief of Shoulder and Elbow Division at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, NY. He is a team physician for the Rochester Knighthawks and Rochester Rattlers, professional lacrosse teams. Dr. Voloshin has been with these teams for the past 9 years.

Dr. Voloshin is an expert in arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, elbow, and knee joints, as well as reconstruction and replacement surgery of the shoulder and elbow. He is an active member of multiple professional societies, including AOSSM, and serves on several committees and task force groups fulfilling several leadership roles.

Dr. Voloshin is an active researcher and a teacher. He contributed over 60 publications in the field of shoulder and elbow reconstruction and sports medicine. His research interests are primarily in the field of shoulder and elbow disorders with focus on biomechanics and clinical research.

Dr. Voloshin earned his medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School and completed his orthopaedics residency at the University of Rochester. He received his fellowship training in shoulder and elbow reconstruction and sports medicine at Columbia University and additional focused elbow training at Mayo Clinic. Dr. He is board-certified in orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine.
